With both my parents being Jamaican I would have to say Oxtail and rice n peas with a side of coleslaw.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration would have to be my mother. I remember from I was a little girl I would be underneath her knees while she was cooking dinner for our huge family of 13. My mother took cooking so serious. She always had to make sure we had a main, side and some vegetables paired with the fresh beverage being sure to never forget desert. She would always be so meticulous about how she plated her food being sure to make sure your eyes and nose ate first.
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I would be sure to give my kids the life that I always dreamed of. I’ll make sure that my kids don’t have to go through what I went through growing up insuring that we not only have a roof over our head but also college funds saved up.
