I’ve never put much thought into what my signature dish might be, but with past experiences and praises from others wether be friends, family, or customers I would have to choose a classic, a nicely seared steak, Caramelized cauliflower purée and smooth mashed potatoes topped with a Demi glaze made from the fat drippings of the steak.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Although I’ve always had a passion for food and feeding others, I’ve always felt the most inspired watching either Gordon Ramsay’s: uncharted, or Anthony Bourdains: no reservations. Being able to see and learn about all these different places and there cuisine, techniques and food experiences always made me strive to keep learning my way around food with as many different techniques as possible as to constantly grow in the food industry.
What would you do with the $25,000?It has always been a dream of mine to be able to serve and reach as many people as possible through food so I think it’s only right to put the money towards that. I would use the money towards starting my own business and if I’m capable opening a food truck.
