Who is your culinary inspiration?I have many culinary inspirations. I watch a lot of food television and read a lot of food magazines. On a daily basis, my FoodPrints students that I garden and cook with inspire me every time I watch them chop a vegetable, harvest a strawberry, or smile at the taste of something delicious. At home, my main inspiration is the fresh produce I get from Farmer Mike at One Acre Farm (my CSA). I love to cook local and seasonal, so dinner ideas start with the produce I get from the farm each week.
What would you do with the $25,000?My husband and I just moved into a new condo with an outdated eat-in kitchen and I want to transform it into the heart of our home where I can entertain and share food with my family and friends. The prize money would definitely help make this dream a reality!
