What is your signature dish?

Coming from the DMV area, I’d say my signature dish is lump crab empanadas served with Old Bay aioli and collard green slaw. The dish feels true to the region while showcasing my style through a balance of global fusion and tapas inspired flavors.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

I’m inspired by the people I grew up watching cook combined with my journey through restaurants, hotels, and healthcare kitchens that taught me food can heal, connect, and create luxury in any setting.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000, my first priority would be giving back to my support system and family by investing in their future and savings. Next, I’d begin building a nonprofit initiative focused on helping the homeless in meaningful ways. Lastly, I’d invest in launching the restaurant concept I’ve been developing. This opportunity would help me grow my culinary career while creating impact through food, community, and service.
