I have been married to a Nigerian for 30 years. I consistently get requests for a Nigerian stew filled with chicken and goat meat. It’s eaten with fufu and vegetables that consists of kale and spinach with a slice of Red Velvet cake!
Who is your culinary inspiration?My mother. She was a down home cook that allowed me to experiment and develop my own flavors and techniques. Taught me that it is not just about recipes, it’s more about your love for food and people. I love feeding people and everyone has to eat. What a wonderful combination!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to have a down payment on a small eatery that serves a twist on comfort food and signature desserts.
