Receive Text UpdatesI love all food. Being a military brat and a Military wife, I have been exposed to many cultures and cuisines. Everything from German Roladins & potato balls to Huihui chicken & spam friedrice. I also love baking. As a Commanders wife in Germany I decorated a Charlies Chips Tin and filled it with cookies everyday for two weeks before the Holidays so the soldiers living in the barracks would have a taste of home. My greatest joy is baking Birthday Cakes for my family & friends.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Two women in my life inspired my cooking journey. My friend Judy mentored me and taught me how to cook and entertain. She is a truly amazing woman who showed me how to organize cooking for large groups with limited resources. My youngest daughter had juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and developed ulcers from her medications. I learned to bake bread and rolls because that is all she could eat. Still today I love to watch her butter and eat one of my rolls fresh from the oven.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to renovate my kitchen and pantry. My collection of cooking gadgets and dishes has outgrown my storage. It would be so nice for everything to be organized.
