Who is your culinary inspiration?My great grandmother, Nellie Fusco. She raised her family during the Depression, and could make something from virtually nothing. I greatly admired that ability. She taught my Irish grandmother (her DIL) to cook Italian, and she taught my mom, who then taught me. I spent a lot of time in those grandma’s kitchens, and learned how to cook young. It’s a passion that has stuck with me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I live in a 100 year old house with a really poorly designed kitchen from the 1940s/50s. I would love to do my kitchen over, and make it an efficient and enjoyable place to cook for my family.
