What is your signature dish?

Midnight Maple Espresso Short Ribs I start by Slow-braising beef short ribs in a red wine, espresso, and maple reduction, and finish with a glossy bourbon glaze. Served over a sweet potato purée with charred baby carrots and crispy shallots.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My culinary inspiration is my uncle, a Michelin-starred chef whose passion and creativity inspired my love for cooking. Watching his dedication to the craft showed me how food can bring people together and create unforgettable experiences. His work ethic and attention to detail continue to motivate me to grow as a chef every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000 prize, I would invest it into growing my catering and meal prep business by upgrading equipment, expanding my menu, and creating more opportunities to serve my community. I also want to use it to build a stronger foundation for my brand while honoring my family’s culinary legacy and inspiring others through my passion for food and hospitality.
