Who is your culinary inspiration?My inspiration comes from the people and communities I've served throughout my life. As a Deaf chef, I've learned that food is a universal language that brings people together. Growing up with challenges taught me resilience, while working with homeless youth and learning traditions from different cultures and faiths showed me how food creates connection and belonging. Every smile, conversation, and shared meal reminds me why I cook—to bring people together and make a positive impact
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to expand my catering and personal chef business, invest in professional equipment, and create opportunities that bring people together through food. As a Deaf chef, I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams regardless of the obstacles they face.
