Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is a Gulf flounder with a blue crab and Gulf shrimp stuffing served with a corn creme relish, steamed lobster tail, and a veggie rice pilaf.
Who is your culinary inspiration? My mother and grandmother inspired me to start cooking at a young age and that was not just learning new dishes, but learning the history of the dishes. I also have a huge respect for Anthony Bourdain because I learned from him that a dish is not just ingredients, it's the person and the culture that helped shape that person that really makes the dish.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use a portion of it to promote mental health awareness for people in the food industry through organizations like the Burnt Chef Project. I would also use it to research and preserve historic recipes and food history.
