Receive Text UpdatesMy signature style is fusion, inspired by my Dominican roots, my partner’s Jamaican heritage, global travel, and growing up in NYC’s diverse food scene. I love highlighting the shared flavors across the diaspora. A crowd favorite is my brown stewed pork with coconut rice and peas (moro con coco), sweet plantains, potato salad, and avocado salad it always brings everyone to the table.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration is rooted in my parents. My mother, Dominican and raised in New York, cooks with love and meticulous care, making every dish feel special. My dad, a Chilean chef, introduced technique and global flavors. Together, they shaped my passion for cooking blending culture, precision, and heart into every meal I create today.
What would you do with the $25,000?With over 15 years of catering experience, I’m confident people love my bold flavor combinations and service. Winning $25,000 would help launch my dry rub and Dominican sofrito based fusion marinade nationwide, with future global reach. I aim to partner with Caribbean producers to deliver authentic, versatile products people will love using in every kitchen.
