Who is your culinary inspiration?My inspiration comes from the people and culture of where I have lived and traveled. From the Mexican and Asian flavors of the Southern California coast, the wild mountains and rivers of Treasure Valley Idaho, the Soul food of Louisiana and the South, and the freshly harvest seafood of the Eastern Shore
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d pour most of it straight into Big Dawg Culinary LLC — my luxury private chef and culinary experience company in Virginia Beach. The funds would go toward a branded food trailer for events, professional kitchen equipment, publishing my cookbook series, and expanding my cooking school. My mission is to make fine dining accessible and educate the masses how to cook healthily. A portion of this will go to my Stepmother who just found out that she has breast cancer
