Who is your culinary inspiration?Andrew Zimmern and the people I serve. I love the way Andrew presents food in its rawness and his willingness to eat anything. I am in awe of how far he goes to bring experiences to the homes of average everyday people. Food is more than sustenance. It's an experience. Making each dish the best, most authentic it can be is my mantra. I work at a shool and church. So my family and all of my people inspire me to be the best version of myself.
What would you do with the $25,000?I want a big BBQ grill/smoker to use to cook for all of my people. I would love to have a big event so we can all eat together. I have a smoker and a grill, but it’s difficult to cook in large quantities. And a vacation! My wife and I love to travel and eat food from all over. I use that as another form of inspiration. I enjoy incorporating food from other countries in my menus. Am I the best chef in here? Maybe...But I feel I am absolutely worthy of being your FAVORITE!
