A Classic Gumbo or Crawfish Etouffee with seasonal vegetables. I love using fresh local produce and lean proteins into my dishes which create an array of flavors that honor my roots and promote a healthier lifestyle.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration stems from my Grandmother who owned and operated a well known seafood and steak restaurant in our community where I spent most of my childhood in the kitchen, watching , learning and helping with prep work or whatever was needed. Witnessing her passion for cooking and her strong commitment ti using the freshest, high quality ingredients instilled in me the values of love, connection and excellence in the kitchen. I strive to carry on her legacy !
What would you do with the $25,000?Sharpen up my kitchen tools! I believe in giving back, so therefore I would donate to local food shelter's and food banks.
