I thought long and hard about this. In fact I waited until the last day to possible to enter this part. I cook all of the time but there wasn't anything I could think of, but then I remembered my favourite dish. My mom made it every Christmas until she passed away from cancer. I took it and put a small twist on it. That dish would be Eggs Benedict with bacon and a maple hollandaise served next to lemon, garlic and herb home fries.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I grew up in a farm town with antenna and maybe 5 channels. When we moved into a bigger town with cable I discovered food network with the original Iron Chef and discovered a love for cooking.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would take my wife on a vacation she deserves and try food around the world. I'd also love to shut down the shop for a day and take my staff out to all of the wonderful vineyards around the region.
