What is your signature dish?

Southern Soul foods. Neckbone, pork steaks, oxtails, pigfeet, cabbage, cabbage sprouts, greens, smothered meat dishes, chicken gizzards, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, etc

Who is your culinary inspiration?

I grew up in the south. My introduction to cooking was at 5 yrs old and my mom telling me to stir the fried corn so it wouldn't stick. I get my taste from my mom also, she would always tell me how do you know you don't like a thing if you have not tried, said things. My mom and all the other older ladies I knew growing up taught me. And the chefs that I have come in contact with, each one I have learned something from each of them. Without each one I would not be here... cooking.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were to win the prize. I will take a trip with my family. Then I will start my own food trailer and catering business.
