Receive Text UpdatesRoasted chicken thighs with lemon and parsley, leeks and chard braised in good wine and chicken stock over mashed potatoes. Obviously some crusty bread, and if it's a holiday, let's throw in a side of pumpkin soup with a sage cream sauce and always with a glass of wine :)
Who is your culinary inspiration?When I was younger I heavily admired Cat Cora for both her style of cooking and visibility as a female chef, and Anthony Bourdain who helped me expand my palette and desire to explore new cuisines. Stephanie Izard and Carla Hall share my love for expressive and lively but home-grounded cooking, as well as a focus on seasonality, fermenting, and preserving.
What would you do with the $25,000?I want to connect healthy meal accessibility with a meal prep/co-op grocery for people in neighborhoods considered food deserts in Chicago. I also would like to invest in better housing for myself and my two kitties, Aster and Pepper. And maybe take a week off to float on a lake? That sounds nice.
