Who is your culinary inspiration?My Grandmothers. Both of my grandmothers were amazing cooks and they passed a good deal of their knowledge to me. They taught and encouraged me to cook. My other grandmother was a cook throughout her career and she was renowned for her pies and chicken. Both left me a rich culinary legacy
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest the money in my business. I own a garden consulting business where I teach others how to cultivate their own vegetable gardens. I believe that connection to our food is crucial to the culinary experience. I believe that when people have access to healthy foods, that it creates healthy people. I want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity like I did to grow up with access to their own fresh produce.
