Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes from both of my grandmothers and the rich cultures that shaped me. One side made me a Caribbean island girl, full of bold flavors and vibrant traditions; the other made me Southern to the bone, rooted in comfort, soul, and love through food. I was raised by some of the best cooks this side of the hemisphere, and every dish I create carries their passion, history, and spirit.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning Best Chef and receiving $25,000 would be the launchpad for my dream food truck—bringing my Caribbean and Southern roots to the streets with unforgettable flavor and culture in every bite. It would allow me to build a mobile kitchen that serves soulful, bold cuisine inspired by my grandmothers and community, while creating a space where food, family, and tradition come together for everyone to experience.
