As an artist, the plate is my canvas. Using abstract lines, shapes and textures with food and negative space of the plate, I not only see the aesthetic from the plating concept but also how it would look on the first fork or spoon. Blending flavors together in a harmonious way for your palette is the ultimate goal.
Who is your culinary inspiration?As a child, watching my Italian grandmother cook effortlessly in the kitchen was my first culinary inspiration and I made my first lasagna at age seven.
What would you do with the $25,000?Not sure how to answer this question prematurely so I would probably invest this to my career.
