My signature dish is a slow cooked Sunday gravy tomato sauce with homemade meatballs. Deep flavor is packed into the meatballs, seared in the oven and cooked low and slow for hours. Topped with plenty of fresh basil and herbs and served with fresh pappardelle pasta to hold the sauce perfectly. Each bite is delicate and full of authentic Italian flavor
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes heavily from Anthony Bourdain and Gordon Ramsey. I grew up watching both of them on tv with their respective shows with my mom and it truly showed me what the world of cooking meant. Bourdain was a prominent individual who showed his path of cooking by experiencing all of the “real” food in the world and traveling to never before seen places on TV
What would you do with the $25,000?With the 25k I would look into investing into my own restaurant or food business and starting what I’ve always wanted. By mixing my influence in my cultural backgrounds I would want to develop a new fusion inspired restaurant focused on ingredients and food people have never had. Something new and creative in design, taste, and smell. Most importantly I want to use my business to help those in need financially or struggling to get food as I grew up with some struggles as well.
