Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish would have to be my crawfish étouffée. I know it’s not German, but it’s southern and it’s my comfort meal when I want something that warms my soul! I also make my grandmother’s favorite of New York Style Cheesecake. She bought me my first kitchen aid when I was 13 and it was the first thing I ever made with it.
Who is your culinary inspiration? My grandmother and my father. My grandmother taught me everything about cooking. She was born in Berlin during the war and her mother taught her how to cook traditional German dishes. She taught me the same and added southern cooking as well because she married an Arkansas farm boy. I cook for my daughter like she cooked for me.
What would you do with the $25,000?Down payment on. Home for my family.
