Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration is my grandmothers, Wanda & Debra. Some of my favorite childhood memories were made in their kitchens surrounded by family, laughter, and amazing food. They both showed me how food can bring people together and make them feel loved and cared for. Their passion for cooking inspired my own journey in hospitality and catering. My grandmother Debra also worked as a private chef for Michael Jordan, which always inspired me to dream big and pursue my passion with confidence
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would truly change the trajectory of my business. I have personally invested my own money, time, and heart into building Mona’s Cuisine LLC from the ground up, and it has not been easy. These funds would help us scale, invest in equipment and staffing, and continue creating meaningful experiences through food, hospitality, and community. More than anything, it would be an investment in a dream I have worked tirelessly to build.
