Receive Text UpdatesI have many, but i think my red rice with sausage, spicy cornbread and cooked cabbage or squash served with fresh sliced tomatoes is one that everyone wants. Takes me back to summertime, growing on James Island. Also, my peanut butter balls and “almost famous sour cream pound cake” are the desserts everyone loves and requests on the regular.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My momma.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d probably use it to seed a restaurant or bakery for my daughter and her husband to run, with yours truly providing some on-site entertainment and a recipe or two. Seriously, she’s an incredible pastry chef and chocolatier, and he an executive sous. They’re brilliant!
