What is your signature dish?

Well I love to do any kind of a seafood dish. Weather it's baked grilled or fried. I must say though my signature dish is a pasta dish with a baked grouper. I call it my Halo Grouper! I start with an angel hair pasta with my famous gorgonzola cream base sauce with spinach and roasted half cherry tomatoes. It's always a hit at any family dinner or gathering!. People always ask me to bring the Halo Grouper to any event I attend!

Who is your culinary inspiration?

Well I have to say watching The Chew as long as I did Carla Hall is definitely at the top of this list! Additionally I'm dating myself, but my love of cooking began with Julia Child. I watched so many of her reruns on PBS as a teen. As a young adult with a new family, Martha Stewart was a big inspiration. Others would include Mario Batali & Gordon Ramsay, I know it's cliche to say but we always eat at his restaurants when possible. Another favorite of mine is Spencer Watts he's a Canadian ch

What would you do with the $25,000?

My husband and I have been property owners for a number of years. We have rented to college students who are studying at the nearby Universities. Most recently we've opened an Airbnb that has been our most fulfilling mode of providing a place like home, but with special touches that are usually only found on vacation. If I Win "Favorite Chef" I'm certain we would use it as a down payment for another Airbnb to provide Cincinnatians and Out of Towners a fabulous home away from home expe
