I would have to say that one of my signature dishes is pulled pork tacos. Slow-smoked pork that is perfectly seasoned and tender in a soft corn tortilla, topped with barbecue sauce and coleslaw! My mouth is watering just describing them.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration is most certainly my grandmother. She was an amazing home cook who's delicious dishes were full of love and care. She was always cooking a meal or treat for family, neighbors, or anyone in need. She taught me how to cook and bake and encouraged my growth in the kitchen as well as in life.
What would you do with the $25,000?As a single mom I plan to use the 25k in many different ways. A big goal I have is to finally take the leap of starting my own culinary business so I'd like to buys a little food truck or rent a small retail space. Anither goal I have is to pay off our family vehicle, take my boys on a much deserved vacation and make sure they are well equipped for a wonderful school year. I'll also make savings accounts for them to start saving for their futures.
