Receive Text UpdatesSmoked BBQ Ribs is my signature dish. I have been smoking meats for 25 years, with ribs being the star of the show. Smoked slow & low over a bed of cherry and pecan wood. So tender and delish no sauce is required, where the meat pulls clean off the bone. The bbq sauce enhances the flavor of my perfectly seasoned ribs. No cover up here. My ribs will have you humming & tapping your feet, taking you to a place that feels like home and "Good for the Soul!"
Who is your culinary inspiration?My grandmother is my culinary inspiration. She showed me how to bring flavors together and always taste your food. I was impressed that she cooked from memory, not a recipe book. Somehow, my grandmother just knew what was needed. I was taught that certain foods build their flavors over time. Whether we were simmering, or preparing a cold dish. She'd say "Sometimes these ingredients have to get acquainted with each other, that takes time." Those little tidbits, & time w/her A+
What would you do with the $25,000?I would donate to 2 local non-profits. One being, "I AM Academy." A local organization that mentors to minority students. They offer tutoring, college preparation and educational activities such as TED talks to build confidence. The other non-profit, "Alliance for Cultural Ethnic Harmony," which encourages a community of unity, by participating in cross cultural & ethnic events. save/invest Pay off debt Host an event for my people that chose me as their Favorite Chef
