Everyone loves my spicy collards & cabbage, Mac & cheese, peach cobbler and my ground beef tacos Cont: ( why I should be the Favorite Chef) I have not met anyone that doesn't love and rave about my cooking. My family, friends and clients all say that I have a true gift! I Even go by the nick name of "The Queen" I am a Cali girl all day, But I have a southern hospitality soul!
Who is your culinary inspiration?Besides my grandmother Emald Lagasse is my hero, He and Julia Child were the best! In my late teens, I was left raising my younger brother and sister and we were tired of eating little Ceasars Pizza and hot dogs! So I taught myself how to cook. I loved and adored Emerald. It was like my Uncle teaching me through the screen. When I started my own family it was me and Julia making casseroles and Emerald and I making sausage dressing and gumbo! What would you do with the $25,000?I've been the owner/ operator of Queen B's Catering for years, I purchased my food truck in March of 2020 and two weeks later the world shut down! Needless to say it didnt get off the ground the way I intended it to. I would use the 25,000 to re-light the fire inside me that I had in 2020 and get my food truck back on the scene! I also, want to be able to help my community and church in Hemet California with outreach programs and provide for those in need.
