It is a Belize plate typical of my country - Rice and beans, chicken and potato salad plate served with pickled peppers and a side of fried plantains!
Who is your culinary inspiration?My mom - she always made food from scratch, including dessert, and always inspired me to be a great cook! Also, I learned a great deal from watching Rachel Ray 30 minute meals on repeat! But my mentor is still my mom!
What would you do with the $25,000?I have six kids, I would gift them $1000 each(they are hardworking, and have worked so hard to study and work at the same time! And I would gift my husband $1000 also - he is also hard working and works hard to make ends meet while I pursue my dream of cooking! And I would book a vacation to Belize(I am from Belize) haven't had a vacation in three years due to having a food truck! Save the rest for my little restaurant!
