Receive Text UpdatesIf you ask everyone else, they’d say bacon fried rice. It’s simple, but no one makes it like I do. My answer is that the essence, care and flavor I put into anything I cook for someone is my signature - not necessarily a dish itself.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Edward Lee - I love his approach to combining what cuisine he grew up with and with what speaks to him now. Roy Choi - keeps it real. He helped me hone in what my mindset is on food. Sean Brock - for the cultural impact of retaining the heritage and culture of Southern dining.
What would you do with the $25,000?Tithe 10% first because I’m nothing without Jesus. He led me out of the hardship of a simultaneous divorce and loss of my food truck, and has given me the ability to start new. Then I would pour into my business to be able to pour back into my community.
