Who is your culinary inspiration?I try to find inspiration from every aspect of the culinary world. I love the free style of Roy Choi, the elegance of Thomas Keller, the down-home feel of Nancy Silverton, and the master artistry of Grant Achatz. Even with those names, I would still say I find the most inspiration from the small hometown chefs whom many will never know their names. I believe those are the people that most of us will ever have the opportunity to enjoy meals from.
What would you do with the $25,000?Some would be spent for a few tools for my kitchen that would help me elevate my creations to the next level. A large portion would go towards a fund that helps small restaurant businesses in times of need. As a small business owner, I know the struggle when a piece of equipment goes down. I want to have money aside that can help my neighbor to not have an interruption in business.
