I started my business, about 3 years ago, and I'm genuinely putting my heart and soul into it. I would love to be able to expand.

Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is definitely brisket. I smoke it low and slow for over 14 hours until it’s tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Whether it’s piled high on a sandwich, turned into burnt ends, or served alongside our smoked mac & cheese, it’s the item people line up for and travel county to county to get. It represents everything we love about BBQ — patience, passion, and bringing people together over incredible food.
Who is your culinary inspiration? My biggest culinary inspiration is my family. We’re deeply rooted around the table, and the kitchen has always been one of the most comforting places for me — especially because of my grandma. Some of my best memories were made cooking, eating, and spending time together as a family. That love, comfort, and sense of community is something I try to bring into every dish I make today.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would be life-changing for our food truck business. It would help us finally take the next step toward a storefront or permanent building for High On The Hog. We’ve built everything from the ground up through hard work, long nights, and passion for BBQ. Having a space to call home would allow us to grow, serve our community in a bigger way, and turn a dream into something lasting for our family and customers.
