Receive Text UpdatesMy favorite dish at the restaurant right now is the mushroom shawarma. We pan roast the mushrooms with some ras el hanout, fresh mint and serve it on top a bit of verde chickpeas hummus, topped with spiced yogurt and sumac onions
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration right now is my own team. We are lucky to have a team of young chefs who are eager to learn and grow in the business. We are all growing together and learning from each other. I appreciate working with young chefs because they have fresh ideas and my technical skills keep our menu interesting and fun
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the competition, I would use the money to help open up the restaurant I have been dreaming about since I could remember. The name is barbou (barboo) named after my Lebanese heritage. It will be a farm to table Lebanese-American bistro utilizing wood fire and modern techniques
