I have a few signature dishes, its hard to choose one in particular as I would say I have more of a signature style not so much one signature dish. However, a few of my favorites are huevos rancheros, bolognese with handmade tagliatelle , shoyu chicken with mac salad, sushi.
Who is your culinary inspiration?I grew up reading and watching Ming Tsai, Anthony Bourdain, Julia Child, Alice Waters, Nobu Mastuhisa and many other influential chefs. I was also surrounded by great cooks and good food growing up. I was exposed to diverse cuisine and experienced and a wide range of cultures from the Pacific Northwest. I was lucky enough to meet some of my peers like Ming Tsai and other Iron Chefs while working as a sommelier at Gwen in Los Angeles as a sommelier for Curtis Stone who inspired me greatly
What would you do with the $25,000?I would open my own business with my partner and create a space to share our passions with our community
