The rice adds warmth and citrus balance, while the caramelized vegetables bring depth and sweetness. This dish represents my style as a chef: elevated comfort food made with heart, technique, and soul.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Anthony Bourdain is my culinary hero because he taught me that food is more than technique, it is culture, connection, and storytelling. His fearlessness and passion inspire the way I cook and view the world. I am also deeply inspired by Wolfgang Puck’s innovation and drive to redefine fine dining, along with Jacques Pépin’s timeless technique, humility, and love for the craft. Together, they remind me that great cooking comes from both skill and soul.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win the $25,000, I would use it to open a food truck with my best friend and fellow chef. Together, we want to blend our fine dining experience with the heart and soul of street food, creating elevated comfort food that feels exciting, approachable, and unforgettable. Our dream is to bring restaurant-quality flavors to everyday people, proving incredible food does not need white tablecloths to feel special.
