Connect What is your signature dish?

My signature dish would be Lollipop Lamb Chops sided with homemade red skinned potatoes and fresh seasoned asparagus.Every plate that I create tells a story of Love,Faith,creativity & passion.I first learned how to cook with my great grandmother,mother,grandfather & grandmother everyday they would cook like it’s thanksgiving meals to feed the entire family so I took the knowledge they gave me and different ideas grown from that.Those kind of meals bring people together.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My Family, life experiences that taught me strength & the struggle that shaped me Watching my loved ones create meals from love not luxury taught me that food is more than eating it’s comfort healing and connection.Growing up food was one of the few things that could bring everyone together no matter what challenges life throws at us. The culinary teachers who I’ve watched was Carla Hall , Kwame Onwuachi and Barbara B Smith taught me how to step out of my comfort zone.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning this opportunity would truly change my life honestly. I would use the $25,000 to grow my food business invest in equipment marketing and continue building a future doing what I love to do the most which is come up with innovative creative dishes.This would mean more than money to me I’ve come a long way with very little it would be a blessing and proof that dreams built on faith dedication and hard work can open doors .I want to inspire others to chase their dreams and keep the fai
