My signature dish is my classic sugar cookie. Simple and made with love. They’ve become my go-to for every holiday, celebration, and gathering, and there’s always a batch ready to share. For me, they’re less about the recipe and more about the feeling they bring to a table: something familiar, comforting, and made to be shared.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration is my dad. Growing up, he was always in the kitchen, baking endless batches of cookies and making our favorite meals. I’d sit at the kitchen table doing my homework while he cooked, watching how food could bring people together. He passed away when I was 13, every time I step into the kitchen, I feel connected to him. Like him, I love opening my home to family and friends, gathering around the table, and creating the kind of memories that last after the meal is over
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would host community dinners that bring people together and support organizations changing lives. Growing up, I watched my dad welcome everyone with a warm meal and open heart. He taught me food is more than what’s on the plate, it’s about feeling valued and connected. As a mom of two, I carry that forward. I would honor his legacy by creating spaces where people gather, share stories, learn, and build lasting community.
