Who is your culinary inspiration?My biggest inspiration is my family — especially the strong, hardworking people who taught me that food is how you show love. My grandmother inspired my passion for baking through tradition, while my dad inspired my work ethic, resilience, and heart. Professionally, I’m inspired by the “everyday chefs” at home who create food that connects people emotionally, not just visually. I strive to make desserts that feel nostalgic, meaningful, and worthy of the moments they are
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use part of the $25,000 to take my 81-year-old father to Scotland — his lifelong dream. He spent his entire life sacrificing for his children, always putting our needs ahead of his own including when he needed a liver transplant in 2016. He deserves the chance to experience something he’s dreamed about. Being able to give that gift back to him would mean more to me than anything.
