It’s rich, creamy, comforting, and unexpected—blending Southern roots with elevated flavors in a way that feels nostalgic but fresh. It’s become a conversation starter at my events and perfectly represents my cooking style: soulful, creative, and made to bring people together around the table.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes from the women in my family and the way food was always tied to love, culture, and community growing up. I’m also inspired by chefs who create experiences, not just meals—people who tell stories through food and make guests feel something. That philosophy inspired me to create immersive supper clubs and experiences that connect people through flavor, music, and atmosphere.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to grow Culinary Expressions and expand my immersive supper club concept, Frequencies. The funding would help me invest in equipment, marketing, staffing, and larger-scale events that create opportunities for local creatives, chefs, and small businesses in Cleveland. My goal is to build experiences that make people feel seen, celebrated, and connected through food.
