Fettuccini Alfredo with butter broiled prawns with pancetta, home made Caesar and my signature garlic bread. I have Celiac Disease, so the pasta, pizza and bread loving Italian I had been for my entire life changed dramatically. I had to reimagine how I conceptualize and create flavorful dishes without feeling like I miss gluten.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Too many to name, I'm such a fangirl of chefs that I feel have a lot of integrity, Jet Tila, Bryan Voltaggio just to name a couple, but lately Sara Bradley"s home style cooking resonates, she's so true to herself. She cooks with love like Carla!
What would you do with the $25,000?My Mom (also Carla) recently passed after a very difficult illness. She loved kids, had a daycare for years, so I'd like to combine that with my love of cooking to help inspire the next generation by bringing food trucks to schools and letting the kids learn and cook in the trucks.
