What is your signature dish?

Baked chicken with onions, peppers and potatoes with Italian seasoning. Set oven to 350 degrees F. Quarter one whole chicken. Set aside to brown in leftover olive oil from the peppers, onions and garlic. Cut 2 green peppers into crescent shapes, cut 2 small yellow onions into quarters and peel 4 large cloves of garlic then smash the garlic with your fist on a large flat knife. Lightly fry these ingredients in olive oil and reserve much of the oil for browning the chicken.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My grandmother whose family came from Sicily , Aggrigento, Santa Magherita taught me how to create this dish and many more. As my dad, loved Italian food my mom made some fabulous dishes following my grandmother, Betty Crocker and the Galloping gourmet and I of course was always in the kitchen at home and the Italian Restaurant I worked as a waitress learning about to create dishes for this wonderful cuisine.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My goal is to donate $25,000 to a soup kitchen to feed the poor and hopefully they would serve healthy and delicious meals.
