Receive Text UpdatesMy smoky shrimp and grits drizzled with key lime aioli. Or is it my guava bbq ribs? I’m partial to my jerk chicken tacos with mango salsa, but you decide! I’m constantly inspired by my island home and love to sprinkle a little Key West in everything I make. Always looking for new ways to play with the flavors of key lime pie, from cocktails to cheesecake to key lime mojito Jell-O shots. 🍋🟩
Who is your culinary inspiration?Too many to name, but I’ll try. Danny Meyer- his book Set the Table is a must read for anyone serious about hospitality! Jose Andres is a constant inspiration and he shows how much chefs can give back every day. I also love Ina Garten, Ottolenghi, Eric Kim, Melissa Clark, Grace Parisi, Edna Lewis, and of course Anthony Bourdain and local hero Norman Van Aken.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’m starting a culinary camp for local kids and this will help supply it. Learning how to grow and cook food is one of the most essential life skills there is! It will also allow me to continue to support our local food pantry. Chefs love to feed people, and everyone deserves a meal! Any leftover money will feed my cookbook addiction- over 500 books and counting!
