Receive Text UpdatesI’m mostly known for soups and baked goods. I have a food truck where I make Knoephla Soup at least once a week and people rave about it. Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting has become the fan favorite dessert.
Who is your culinary inspiration?Being a true Gen X kid, I was raised by Julia Child and other cooks on PBS. I would run home from school and turn on the TV to watch cooking shows. I’d make a new dish for supper by the time my mom came home from work. I was probably 9 years old making Chicken Ala King. I was a weird kid.
What would you do with the $25,000?Pay bills. Make upgrades to my home or to my food truck. It’s a 28year old step van & I’m so afraid it’s gonna break down and I won’t he able to chase my dream anymore. I would just breath a little easier and be less stressed about making enough to live. Being a single mom and grandma is stressful.
