What is your signature dish?

My signature dishes combine bold flavors, refined technique, and locally sourced ingredients. One of my favorites is pan-seared scallops with smoked butternut squash purée, pork belly succotash, and confit tomatoes. More than any single dish, my signature is creating unforgettable dining experiences tailored to each guest while showcasing fresh, sustainable ingredients and vibrant flavors.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My greatest inspiration comes from the chefs who shaped my career, including Gordon Ramsay and Michael Mina. They taught me the importance of discipline, creativity, and excellence. I’m also inspired by local farmers, ranchers, and producers whose dedication provides the incredible ingredients that make great food possible. Their passion motivates me to keep learning and growing every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The money would help me pursue two dreams. First, I would invest in growing my private chef business and creating unforgettable dining experiences. Second, I would publish a recovery workbook I’ve written based on my own journey through addiction and healing. Last year I reached the Top 10 but lost my way. This year, I’m coming back stronger. Winning would allow me to turn one of the hardest chapters of my life into something that helps others find hope, purpose, and recovery.
