Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish would be bbq char sui pork ribs with wonton mee noodles. It’s a fan favorite of everyone who I’ve had the honor to cook for. It’s also one of my favorite foods when I get to go back and visit my family in Malaysia. My other signature dish is my father’s secret chili sauce. It’s the right amount of spice and can be added to everything. Goes best with wontons.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration is my father. He grew up in a small farming village in Malaysia. I grew up eating all the food of southeast Asian. The food pulls from so many cultures and that is what makes it stand out from other Asian cuisines. It’s the right amount of spice blend to tingle your taste buds. What would you do with the $25,000?I have two daughters who I’d love to provide for and allow them to experience food the way I did growing up. I would bring them back to Malaysia to sit around a table with family and eat the food I love to eat.
