Who is your culinary inspiration?My greatest culinary inspiration comes from my grandparents, who taught me that food brings people together, heals, and creates lasting memories. Their love and traditions guide every dish I make. I’m also inspired by Edna Lewis, whose ability to elevate Southern comfort food with elegance and honor its rich history continues to influence my cooking style.
What would you do with the $25,000?If awarded $25,000, I would invest $15,000 into a food van, product development, and marketing to grow my brand’s reach. I would allocate $5,000 toward daily operations and $2,500 to expand into satellite kitchens. The remaining $2,500 would support a community food initiative, providing free meals and hands-on cooking workshops for families in need, using food as a tool to nourish, educate, and uplift.
