Who is your culinary inspiration?Dad was my inspiration. Dad's flavors were absolutely amazing. He could turn the simplest thing ( like a bologna sandwich) into a masterpiece. His Steaks &desserts( especially that banana pudding) were out of this world. Even after losing his sight, he still talked me through recipes with passion, precision, & love.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win, I would FINALLY open "Alima's Cafe"...a cozy spot filled with comfort, flavor, & heart. Where people come in & taste the recipes & passion that have lived in my hands for years. It would be more than a Cafe, it would be a reflection of my journey & a way of bringing people together through food that feels like home.
