My signature style blends Cuban and Hawaiian cuisine with a heart-healthy twist. I create flavorful dishes like mojo chicken, yucca, chimichurri steak, healthy loco moco, and lomi lomi while focusing on balanced nutrition and fresh ingredients. I also enjoy making healthier desserts that still feel indulgent. My goal is to prove healthy food can be comforting, vibrant, and full of flavor.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes from Chef Rainer Schwarz, Chef Vincent Cachot, Chef Chris Hensel, Chef Eddie Ruiz, and Chef Jason Yamagucchi, mentors who taught me that food is about people first. Working in healthcare, senior living, resorts, and restaurants shaped my passion for cooking with heart, consistency, and hospitality. My family also inspires me daily to create meals that bring people together, create memories, and show how powerful food can truly be.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to grow my meal prep and culinary brand focused on healthier, performance-driven meals for adults and kids. I’d also take my family on a well-deserved vacation. my wife works incredibly hard, and I’d love to give her and our kids time to relax, recharge, and create lasting memories together.
