My go to dishes are any rice or pasta dishes. I have learned and adapted a talent to make good food from nothing. Using my own flavors and twists, I have made many people happy with my food, even if it’s a dish I haven’t made before. For me it’s about trial and error and testing flavors out, it’s not always about the protein, for me the star of the show are the little guys (sauces and sides).
Who is your culinary inspiration?I grew up watching Rachel Ray and I love her! I have always enjoyed learning from different chefs. I was the 2019 scholarship recipient of Aaron Sanchez scholarship fund and during that time I learned soo much and got to meet many amazing chefs. I would have loved the opportunity to meet chef Anne Burrell but we keep the “brown food tastes good” Alive
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I would finally be able to start my own business and would love to be able to mentor others eager to learn about the culinary arts. I am learning everyday and winning this money would really help with my goals and dreams to further my passion in cooking. I love to eat and I work hard. I am all about giving back, so I am excited for this once in a lifetime experience and journey.
