Who is your culinary inspiration? My culinary world began with a mother preparing wonderful meals from home grown vegetables and beef, pork. poultry and dairy from our animals we raised. Everything scratch made. It was that example that I tried to follow when I started seriously cooking. Over time I have added different ethnic foods. In 2021 a Parkinson's Disease diagnosis added challenges, the loss of smell and taste. I have continued my quest, not giving in. I want to prove that Parkinson's doesn't have to be our identity.
What would you do with the $25,000?First thing, book an extended trip for my wife and I to be with our two grandsons, daughter and son-in-law in South Korea. Make a contribution to our local Parkinson's Disease support program. Have our bath remodeled to include an accessable shower. The hopefully have some left over to get some new cookware for our kitchen.
